Data Deletion Instructions

What this page covers

This page explains how you, or anyone whose data we hold, can request deletion of personal data from Rigox. This includes data obtained through our integrations with Meta platforms (WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook).

Option 1 — Delete from your dashboard (fastest)

If you have a Rigox account:

  1. Sign in at rigox.com/login.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account.
  3. Click Delete my account. You'll be asked to confirm with your password.
  4. All your bots, knowledge, conversations, leads, tickets, channel connections (WhatsApp / Instagram / Facebook), and billing records are removed from our active database within minutes.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot sign in (lost access, account closed, or you are a third party whose data was processed by Rigox), email us:

Please include:

  • The email address linked to the Rigox account (if known)
  • Or the WhatsApp / Instagram business number / handle that was connected
  • A brief description of what should be deleted

We respond within 7 working days and complete deletion within 30 days. We may ask for proof of identity before processing requests from third parties.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and login credentials
  • All bots you created and their configuration
  • All knowledge content (uploaded files, scraped pages, manual text)
  • All conversations between visitors and your bots
  • All leads, tickets, and visitor contact information
  • All connected channel tokens for WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger
  • All cached profile data we received from Meta (e.g. WhatsApp Business Account ID, Instagram Business Account ID, Page IDs)
  • Billing records (subject to legal retention requirements)

Backups

Encrypted backups are kept on a rolling 30-day schedule and then permanently overwritten. Within that 30-day window the data exists only in encrypted backups and is not used or accessed.

Data we may retain

We retain the following only where required by Indian law:

  • Tax invoices and payment receipts — kept for 8 years per the Indian Income Tax Act and GST rules.
  • Anti-fraud / abuse logs — minimal records of terms-of-service violations may be kept to prevent re-onboarding of bad actors.

Everything else is permanently deleted.

Meta platform data specifically

For data we received via Meta's APIs (WhatsApp Cloud API, Instagram Graph API, Facebook Login for Business), in addition to the above, we:

  • Revoke the access token by calling Meta's DELETE /me/permissions endpoint.
  • Unsubscribe our app from your WhatsApp Business Account / Page webhook.
  • Delete all cached message history we processed for your account.
